Tadweer Group will showcase the importance of plastics recycling in line with its efforts to promote Plastic-Free July, a global initiative to reduce the use of plastics. In addition, Tadweer Group will help the community gain a stronger understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and underscore the importance of organic waste composting at its stand.
Dr Reem Al Kindi, Head, Public Awareness at Tadweer Group, said: “Tadweer Group has continued to reinforce its dedication to awareness and promoting a sustainable future at cultural platforms such as the Liwa Dates Festival. Through these events, we are leading on behavioural change and emphasising the value of managing our waste responsibly and adopting key practices to maintain a clean environment.”
At its stand, Tadweer Group will host a series of workshops and activities for the youth including plastic flower workshops, waste segregation exercises and building furniture with plastic materials.
Tadweer Group’s stand is located at No: 06 within the Festival, open from 4pm-10pm daily. For more information about the Community Engagement team or to get involved in future initiatives, please visit www.tadweer.ae or follow us on our official social media channels.
