Tadweer Group purchases first batch of Reverse Vending Machines from Nadeera in initial rollout
- Made in Abu Dhabi Reverse Vending Machines to collect plastic bottles and aluminium cans
- New Tadweer Rewards incentive mobile application to further encourage recycling habits in the community
- Initial rollout to include 25 machines at strategic locations across Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 16 April: Tadweer Group has announced the purchase and rollout of 25 Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) from Nadeera, a socially conscious organisation with a focus on environmental solutions. In partnership with Nadeera, Tadweer Group is also launching Tadweer Rewards, a mobile application designed to incentivise recycling habits in the community.
The RVMs will collect plastic bottles and aluminium cans, and will be placed in strategic locations across Abu Dhabi starting from May 2024, with the initial rollout focusing on 25 RVMs.

Tadweer Group is demonstrating its commitment to investing in and enhancing the recycling infrastructure within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through agreements with like-minded organisations such as Nadeera. The partnership also contributes to Tadweer Group’s ambitious targets to divert 80% of waste away from landfill by 2030.
The announcement was made during the 2024 edition of the EcoWASTE Exhibition and Conference, held from April 16 to 18. During this event, experts and thought leaders will engage in dialogue and exchange ideas on potential solutions across sustainability, alternative resources and waste industries.
