Abu Dhabi, UAE, 1 October 2026 – Tadweer Group has recognised 30 partners and contributors for their contributions to extending the reach and impact of community awareness programmes across the UAE.

The recognition took place during the 2026 Awareness Strategic Partners Recognition Ceremony, held on 30 September at the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre in Al Ain. Honourees included 13 government entities, nine educational entities and schools, two media organisations, and three honourees in the volunteer category.

Among those recognised were the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, Department of Municipalities and Transport, Ministry of Education, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, the UAE National Food Loss and Waste Initiative (ne’ma), United Arab Emirates University, Emirates News Agency and Abu Dhabi Media Network, alongside participating schools, volunteers and students.

The ceremony highlighted the role of cross-sector collaboration in translating environmental awareness into meaningful participation, responsible practices and measurable community impact.

Abdulwahed Juma, Executive Director of Communications and Awareness at Tadweer Group, said:

“Our partners are instrumental in extending the reach and impact of our awareness programmes, engaging different segments of society and turning awareness into action. By bringing together government, education, media, volunteers and communities, we are reinforcing a shared responsibility for sustainability and building a stronger platform for long-term behavioural change and a more sustainable future.”

The ceremony also highlighted the measurable impact made possible through Tadweer Group’s partnerships. Recent initiatives include Dispose It with Responsibility, which reached more than 15,000 people, and Our Sustainable Farms, which engaged 6,342 agricultural workers and earned the United Arab Emirates Outreach Project of the Year – Community award at the GovMedia Awards 2026.

Educational partnerships have delivered further impact. Implemented with the Ministry of Education, the Generation Green programme reached 260 students across nine schools in six emirates.

As Tadweer Group continues to transform how waste and resources are understood and managed, community awareness remains central to its ambition to advance circularity. Tadweer Group will therefore continue expanding partnerships, strengthening the measurement of behavioural impact and developing programmes that empower communities to help create a more resource-efficient future.
